This document describes the privacy policy for the website that-day.minisite.ai (hereinafter referred to as the website) of the NGO “THAT DAY”, registered at 45252822, 20 Igor Bedzay St., Mykolaiv, Ukraine 54017, office 202 (hereinafter referred to as the NGO). This document explains what types of information can be collected and stored on the official website of the organization, as well as how the information can be used and provided. 

1. What information our organization collects

1.1. When you visit our website, contact us, make a charitable donation, complete a volunteer form, or register for an event, our organization collects both personal and general data about you.

1.2. Personal data means information or a set of information about an individual who is identified or can be specifically identified. Personal data relates to an individual person—name, address, phone number, email address. The NGO receives such data only from individuals who provide it knowingly and of their own free will.

1.3. Visitors’ personal data is used for the purpose of ensuring information exchange and in accordance with the Laws of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection,” “On Information,” “On Telecommunications,” “On Entrepreneurship,” “On Protection of Information in Information and Telecommunication Systems,” ND TZI 2.5-010-03 “Requirements for the Protection of Information on Web Pages from Unauthorized Access,” and other applicable regulations.

1.4. General data is anonymized information collected by the website during users’ visits.

1.5. If you do not agree with any of the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not provide your personal data.

1.6. You may withdraw your consent to the use of your personal information at any time. To do so, it is sufficient to send an email with the subject line “Personal Data” to that-day@ukr.net. We will send you a confirmation email stating that your personal data is no longer being used.

2. Why we process personal data

2.1. We may process your personal data for the following purposes; one or more purposes may apply simultaneously:

• granting you volunteer status within our organization. We may use your personal data to contact you if you have completed the volunteer form, involve you in our activities, inform you about volunteer community news, etc.;
• communication with you. Our organization may use your personal data to contact you, notify you about events, or send you messages related to actions you have previously taken on the website;
• expressing gratitude for a charitable donation and informing you about how your funds were used.

2.2. This Policy supplements and is applied in conjunction with the regulations, policies, and instructions in force within the NGO and complies with the current legislation of Ukraine.

2.3. The NGO has the right to store personal data for the duration of our cooperation, for the periods established by current legislation of Ukraine, or until you delete such data.

3. How and what information we collect

3.1. In accordance with the legal requirements specified in clause 1.3 of this Policy, you consent to the collection, processing, and use of your personal data provided to the NGO “That Day” (EDRPOU 45252822) by means of:

• completing and submitting a contact form;
• making charitable donations on the website;
• completing a volunteer form;
• registering via a form for an online/offline event.

3.2. Personal data is received directly from you and with your knowledge in the following cases:

• when you contact us or complete a volunteer form, we store your email address or phone number in order to contact you;
• when you make a charitable contribution, we store your first name, last name, and email address in order to thank you for your support;
• when you send us an email, we store the email address you provided in order to respond;
• when you register for an online/offline event via a registration form, we store your last name, first name, phone number, and email address in order to contact you.

3.3. We also continuously collect general data when you visit our website. This data is collected using cookies technology.

3.3.1. Cookies are pieces of information that a website transfers to a user’s hard drive for storing information related to the website. This technology enhances your internet experience by saving your preferences when browsing a particular site. Cookies do not contain personal information and cannot configure your system or read information from your hard drive. While browsing our website, cookies may be placed on your computer. 4.1. Personal information of users authorized on the website may be provided by us exclusively to law enforcement authorities in the event of a lawful request—by court order/decision or within other legal procedures—in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine.

5.1. The NGO takes necessary and sufficient legal, organizational, and technical measures to protect information provided by website users from unlawful actions by third parties, such as unauthorized or accidental access, destruction, alteration, blocking, copying, distribution, and other actions. At the same time, despite all efforts, the NGO cannot guarantee absolute protection against all threats beyond the NGO’s control.

6. Use of website data by users

6.1. All rights to the content of the website belong to the NGO. This website as a whole and its individual elements are protected by the Law of Ukraine “On Copyright and Related Rights,” other acts of current legislation of Ukraine, and international treaties.

6.2. Website users must not distribute, modify, transmit, or reuse any information from the website for commercial purposes without the written permission of the NGO.

6.3. Website users must comply with all copyright requirements, and copied information may be posted on other resources only with an active hyperlink to the website. Copying information from the website is permitted for non-commercial purposes for posting on users’ personal pages, blogs, social networks, etc.

6.4. When using this website, users are not granted any intellectual property rights to the website itself, its content, or the use of any branding elements or logos of the website.

6.5. By using this website, you automatically agree to this Privacy Policy and its terms. If you do not agree with this Policy, you must leave the website and refrain from using it.

7. Updates to the Privacy Policy

7.1. The NGO may unilaterally change or update parts of this Policy at any time without prior notice.

7.2. All changes to this Privacy Policy take effect from the moment they are published on the website that-day.minisite.ai.

7.3. When you make a donation, participate in an event, research, or otherwise interact with us, you agree to the new version of the Privacy Policy in effect at that time.

7.4. If any part of this Privacy Policy is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
